One is created by protons, nuetron, electrons that make up elements while the other is created by bits, zeros and ones that make up bytes.

hedgewitch: If what you say is true... then its like saying "Computers and Robots" with AI... saying there are no humans that created them.

'An infirm metaphor in the very least.
But we can certainly appreciate the try.
Do not confuse sentience with, comparatively, emptiness and non-living entities.
In truth, there is nothing you can draw out that could scarcely dare even approximate the relationship of where God is to that of human beings.
You are attempting, with a device which is the Mind, to countenance that which so infinitely exceeds the Mind and Universal Mind itself.

if we could program a robot to think for itself and learn for itself how to act we would be there "gods". We have free will away from god which computers and robots as yet do not, they act as they are programmed to. I think the metaphor works but only in so far as we could call ourselves the gods of anything we create; If i made a clay pot i would be its creator but i have not given it freewill, nor did i create the clay i made it with. The analogy works though i am just nit picking.

I don't know if the analogy is apt because man, being made in God's image, has intellect and will like God, but a computer or robot does not.
I don't think that there is an apt analogy for that because, whatever the similarities, there is an infinite difference between the infinite self-existent being God and anything else, including man.

Humans have created wonderful inventions and discovered new and exciting things. God created the world and all that is from nothing, yes from nothing. God didn't simply discover a new way to make what existed work. God created all from nothing so there is no comparison.

God is to humans,
Humans is to Computers/Robots,
Therefore, Computers/Robots is not for God.
I see the metaphor in it.

God created us, like we create robots. I think your right. But we have a soul. Robots don't.

For every creation there is a creator. Simplicity is so easy that some complicate it to prove how 'smart' they are.

Don't degrade the God by comparing like this. He is above all, he is great & ur existence is becoz of him only.
