How do we know of the consequences and impacts that our actions have on the environment? Science! How have we come up with management strategies to protect and conserve many natural habitats? Science! Not all science is not bias towards human development, predominantly scientists in the field of the environment is the opposite of continued human development. As the environment is not seen as an economic development factor in most societies. It is the decision makers (politicians) who tend to ignore the science to have bias towards the bettering of humans (look at the lack of policy and action in regards to climate change, science has expressed concerns since the 70s and only in the last decade has the issue started to be seriously taken by governments, actions are probably another decade away). Why have humans been so slow to act on climate change, when the science has been around for 4 decades? It isn't because the science is bias towards human's development, it is because politics and economists typically are (and money makes the world go around).

Science does nothing to benefit nature. Nature is what it is and science can help people change or destroy nature, but how can anyone say what, if anything, is a benefit to nature?
Science helps me personally by making my life easy. But, that has nothing to do with benefiting nature.

It has given nature manures to increase the productivity of plants.During rain the fertile soil(upper layer of soil) was flown by the rain water ,for its prevention stepping was started. It has enabled the backward thinking people to change their thinking which caused harm to nature.
