I got my nose pierced a month ago, and it is not healed yet. I'm wearing a nose screw which ends with a half circle, so I think it would be hard to take it out, and would cause scarring, infection or irritation. Even when it is completely healed, is it necessary to take it out to clean it, for hygiene purposes? I don't feel good about taking it out because it seems hard and could hurt my nose, and I don't really need to change my nose piercing for another one since I like the one I'm wearing.

If you can rotate the jewelry in the hole (even just a little bit) there's no reason to remove it. Nose screws can be taken out and put in painlessly, it just takes some practice (and they have to have been shaped correctly).

A screw isn't the best choice for a new piercing, they take practice to remove and replace-but you're kinda stuck now.
For the time being, as long as you can get around the screw well enough to keep it clean, it should be OK. Once it heals I think you'll eventually want to try something different-just be patient, take your time and It will work out fine.
Enjoy your new piercing:)
