Life or Death?

Yesterday I was so depressed ending it all was top of my list. Huge Thanks to everyone who answered my question:
'Is Suicide the Way Out?'
All your comments really helped and yes it would be selfish and my family would be hurt for a long time - if not the rest of their lives.

Yahoo answers is invaluable sometimes, isn't it?

From Beyond - I don't have any children, there's no way I could do it then. I don't have many people in my life but I do not want to put that on my parents and sisters. Thanks so much for your comments & good luck to you with your recovery too :o)

Good for you and I hope you remember this experience if the depression returns. The whole basis of the original, Chad Varah - inspired Samaritans is that it is better to talk, or communicate, with anyone rather than suffer the Black Dog on your own in silence.
As for Bullet Boy, he is so wrong.

I'm glad that you chose to continue to live.

I want to caution you that you still face a struggle and uphill war. The same thoughts you have you can struggle with again.

I wrestled with these in my late teen years and they are not a thing of the past but no longer have power of me in my life now, i'm older than dirt and not in a hurry to hurt myself.

I am always at your service if you need to talk. I know I did not help you when you wrote yesterday, but Ihave lost too many precious people to suicide to sit by and let anyone lose their life when another day, and time puts things into a different light that shows that was a bad choice.

I dont know if you have kids but kids of a parent who commits suicide never ever get over it and are damaged for life, suicide is a final solution to a temporary problem, I hope you feel much better soon and i shall say a prayer for you, ive felt like killing myself desperatly recently too but it would ruin my parents if i did, everything in life passes just takes time. Take care glad you choose to live.

WTF let me tell you something people that are going to commit suicide dont actually say anything or tell anyone they just go and do it so i suspect that you are just an attention seeking little girl after some sympathy because mommy wouldn't let you have what you wanted from the shops.

Christ your thinking about commiting suicide so you come on yahoo answers hahahahaha please if things were that bad you would be out pondering and thinking about things not on here attention seeking but by the way next time ya wanna do it dont tell anybody and take 8 - 10 paracetomol anymore than that doesn't work as your body gets immune to it.

i know how you feel at times hun, sometimes life doesnt seem like its worth carrying on. but life is what we make it and things always seems better the next day.

always remember there are people out there that love you and would miss you a great deal if you died, Life is always the best option, over death as this is so final there is no coming back, make the best of the life you have.
