i got a a vista hp and direct x 10 so wats the problem and wat clan i do about it.will it help if i change the resolution or somthing.wen i click BF it says battle field 2142 exe has stopped working.wat do i do plz i luv dat game

You need a real video card for big games like that, I would recomend an nVidia 8600GT or 7600GS, they are both pretty cheap and will run that game no problems with all max settings. Your current video card is onboard, they suck for everything. If its a newer computer I'm sure it has a PCI-Ex16 slot on the motherboard, but if you don't know anything about computers then you may want to take it to a computer repair shop (PcClub, BestBuy, Circuit City etc..).

Do you have enough RAM with Vista some programs need more RAM, Is your video card good enough to run BF, it both of those are yes then try re-installing the game, also the chipset might not be support which can sometimes make a game to crash and not run properly

If you really want to enjoy that game, get a good graphics card. Your integrated graphics is too slow for most current games.
Cheap option= 8500GT
Better options= 8600GT or GTS
Fast options= 8800GTS or GT
Awesome option= 8800 Ultra
