Wouldn't want a huge house, just one with 3 or max 4 bedrooms and a couple of bathrooms. A large outside area, lots of scope for growing my own fruit and veg, keeping chickens and maybe even some sheep or goats. A small olive grove and a little vineyard. Enough to provide me with most of what I'd need to be self sufficient. Big enough for the whole family to visit, but not so big that I'd feel lost when they went home. It would be overlooking the sea, private beach would be the expensive part! Mountains in the background and a small town or village within walking distance.
I'd be more extravagant with the car, as I'd like 2! A small one for my own use, perhaps the new baby fiat!! Its so cute but I'd like it to be a convertable. Then a more practical one, big enough to seat at least 6. Don't really care what kind of car, but I'd like it to be as carbon neutral as possible!
Last thing.......it would be on an island in the Med, probably a Greek island.

The house would have to be in the country in the middle of a twenty acre field so no neighbours to worry about and the car would be a range rover discovery

I'd buy a house somewhere in English countryside, something mansion-like.
The car? Probably a Cooper, Mini-Cooper maybe. I really like this one.

A lovely big house in Derbyshire (around Bakewell somewhere) and a mini cooper. And also a nice dog like maybe a husky or a dalmation.
