The question was from a girl in a crappy relationship..cheating, abuse, neglect etc. She wanted to know what SHE was doing wrong. I suggested that she attend her local community college. Hell, it was such a sad and depressing situation. I thought she would benefit from a new and intelligent source. I recieved a report from the q&A abuse center. No reason, just that my reply was pulled. College did so much for me in every way. I just wanted to share that option. Is that abuse?

Hey guys, You don't have to be the recipient of an answer to report it as abuse. You can report spam, racism and stupidity for any question. Thanks for all the great answers!

There is a very good chance that you did not present your thoughts like you did above. Perhaps you were nasty? ;-)
Regarding the above post: "This is very small minded and I seldom report
anyone except in extreme circumstances...
Back track the one who reported you and report him
for half a dozen things... "
I find it hard to believe that you "seldom report" since you suggest vindictive false reporting.
Sad. Oh, and your information on how the system works is inaccurate, hun.

I've had a few of those on here.
if it make you feel better I've been hear a rumor that yahoo question may go away because of legal problems with advise and abuse!!!
This is how GOOGLE question and answers went away!
I honestly give it a another year then they'll pull the plug!

No, it is not abuse..
Yahoo does not "review" the abuse reports...
If someone takes offense or disagrees with your
answer they can report you for abuse and it
goes through Y/A automatically...
This is very small minded and I seldom report
anyone except in extreme circumstances...
Back track the one who reported you and report him
for half a dozen things...

I believe you can appeal the abuse report if you think it was unfair. Don't know how you'd do it though.

doesn't sound like abuse to me. she may not have liked your answer and obviously wasn't ready to hear opinions that she didn't agree with. some people ask a question, but don't like the suggested answers. keep answering questions, you sound like you've got some great ideas.

The asker reported you as abuse. That's all. She didn't like your answer. No big deal.
