Distance is a killer to any relationship... but they say absence makes the heart grow fonder... i like to have those close to me always nearby... it gets too easy to feel..."out of sight , out of mind"...

If both parties are honest, have meaningful things in common and in love then, absolutely. My gf was in Hawaii, me san Diego. We flew back n forth ocassionally, talked on the phone alot for a year, then Moved in together in San Diego. Today, 5 years later, we have a 2 year old daughter together and are still very much in love.

The couple must be committed to the relationship. Possibly if there was a time frame and they knew it was for only a couple of years instead of indefinitely, they could work towards this goal.

They can... but then, why bother? I am sure there are many church-loving boys in your hood that you can hook up with.
