Cancel your membership, sure
sending a letter, i wouldn't unless it happened on the premises. What she does on her own time has nothing to do with her job and would otherwise be considered slander.

I have to agree with Giggle Bear. It hurts, I know, but you're being mad at the trainer or the gym doesn't really help. Although you can't control what you feel, don't let your emotions get the better of you. The gym itself can't be blamed for your husbands actions. The trainer can, but only to a very small extent. The real problem here is your not-so-faithful husband. If you must, cancel your membership, but you shouldn't make a big deal. You're probably in enough pain as it is. Take it easy, and don't try to get revenge. That won't help anything, and you won't feel any better. It's understandable to not want to visit the gym though. Best of luck.

The gym is not responsble for the personal trainer and your husband's action. Cancelling your gym membership does not affect the gym as much as you would hope to. But it is too much pain to work-out in the gym because it reminds you of your husband's betrayal, cancel it.
Writing the letter could result in the trainer getting a slap on the wrist (a warning). You could still meet her in the gym.
Have you forgiven you husband? What are you doing to save your marriage? If you have ever intention to leave your husband, I would launch a full blown revenge. Instead of writing the letter, I would make the affair known to all members of the gym and all our friends and family.

Can you write a letter? Sure. Will they care and cancel your membership? Not hardly likely. What does your husband's affair have to do with the services the gym provides you? Yes unfortunately his mistress works there, but surely you can just find another location to work out at in the meantime. Don't get your hopes up on them letting you out of your contract.

Why did he get a female trainer in the first place if he wasn't in the market for a booty call?
Kick the SOB to the curb and get a guy that has some respect for you.
Do write a letter to the gym, but don't expect them to do anything other than tell the bimbo to be more discrete.
If you are in North Carolina, you can SUE that bimbo for money pursuant to an old blue law called the Alienation of Affections law, designed to discourage whores like her from going about their homewrecking business unimpeded.
Best wishes in your new life. Oh, and if you decide to swallow your self-respect and stay with that bum, make him use a condom until he's had two clean HIV tests, six months apart. Even if he's a *nice, clean guy* (HAH!) I'm betting his bimbo has been getting around. She may have dog germs. I only pray she didn't pass them on to your dog. Good luck.

Oh I'm sure he'd LOVE that! Advice from his wife's lover about how to please her! You might as well stab him in the heart or punch him in the face. Marriages usually break down for many reasons, however in all cases it takes two people to make a marraige fail. Ok, he's not been the best husband, but she's not been a good wife either. The same goes for your relationship. Your spouse might be "lousy" but how have you contributed that? And what are you doing to her now by cheating? Is that helping matters at all? I think the both of you need to take a good long hard look at yourselves and work out how you're going to either work through your respective marriages, or end them. You cannot let things go on as they are, unless you want to hurt your "lousy spouses" more than you have already of course.

Well you'd probably get the personal trainer fired, too. Is that what you want, to get back at her for your husband's sake? It won't fix things between you and your husband, and just make someone else as miserable as you're feeling now. Leave her alone, cancel your gym membership if you must, but leave her out of it. And deal with your husband, he's the problem, not her. She didn't promise to love you forever... HE did.

Absolutely, that woman should loose her job for unprofessional behavior. I would write a very professional letter and demand not only for her to be let go, but a refund of your membership. You can get anything you want if you write a killer pain and suffering, on the verge of sueing, yet professional letter. Good luck.

I'm sorry to hear he had an affair.
My Dad and Mom went through something like this 3 years ago. You can, and should report her. For one im sure it's against company policy, and two if she had an affair with your husband what's to stop her from having an affair with another married man?
I can't stand women who know someone is married and still have something going on with them, it's totally wrong.
I'm so sorry, I know how awful this situation can be. But to save someone else from this pain, write the letter.

No, you don't do anything against her - your only beef should be with your husband! If you want to cancel your gym membership, just do so without saying why.
