That compliment thing is the patient person way of seeing it. I just get really annoyed. This one girl used to criticize me for dressing up a lot and always wearing heels. Then one day she walked up to me in this cute pair of heels and clothes similar to mine. She nows shops at my 3 favorite stores. I was like what happened?

It's true, imitation is the sincerest form of a compliment. I know that I have my own style of dress and I do know that I find a lot of friends trying to copy how I dress. It never quite comes out the same, but I am quite flattered. How can you not be, it means that you are noticed in a positive way. And if you are a person who is assured enough about themselves and does what they want, for no other reason than it is what they want to do, does it really matter who gets the credit. It's a big world out there, and people know who you are and what you have done. you don't need to hear the words, you know them yourself. It's pretty hard when you have to hear people give you all the credit all the time, I'm sorry for those that are that insecure.

I feel very flattered. Most of the time. What I really hate is being at a clothing store and telling one of my friends I like something, then they have to go buy it before I can. :)

It depends on what it is.
Clothes, I don't mind. Clothes are easily changed.
Hair, I do mind. In fact, I've had three women I know copy my cut, and I don't find it the least bit complimentary. I like my 'do and don't want to change it right now.

It is a compliment, but sometimes it bothers me. A few years ago, a coworker started wearing her hair like mine, and it was annoying as hell, but then I remembered that I should be flattered. And besides, she couldn't rock it like I did!

I think it's good as long as they don't start dressing like me. There's a lady at work that always copies my hairstyles, so weird but I never say anything about it.

it depends on who it is... for example i think it's awesome matching with a best friend however i'd hate to walk into school with my freshmen neighbor looking like me. and it depends on how far the person goes with copying me and if they're aware that they're doing it.

I hate it but then I stop to think "this person is going out of their way to act like me....what the phuck is wrong wit them?" So then I hate it even more.
