Keep the shoe as Ransom! She is going to want it back when she goes to put on the other one and figures out that she threw it at you. Watch her hop over to your front door with one shoe on in full apologies to you just because she wants the mate to her lost shoe.
But tell her. "sorry, there's a price for this shoe' and if you want it back deliver me X amount of money in unmarked bills. etcetera , et cetera!

Beat up their dog! Or lure him out in the road. Then leave a dead fish or can of cat food on their doorstep.

Wait for her to wash her car, run around in some mud and then walk all over it. That's what my cats do. Not to be mean, I think it's just fun. But it's aggravating.
