Honestly some people just don't have a clue about anything going on around them are they stupid or just self centered?

lil' miss almighty1, yes from what Ive seen, the state educational systems lesson plans have depleted the amount of classes and lessons that promote environmental awareness and philosophical thinking , although they have increased the mathematics and sciences to make up the difference (gotta keep 'em busy with sumthin')... this has actually been taking place for mad years at a slow pace so that maybe no one would notice,kind gotta ask whats really going on? ... Word of Mouth..

and to all the grammarcy peeps , as a amateur linguist, depending on cultural environment, and in the format in which it was used ... it is a word . Remember when ain't wasn't a word cause' it ain't in the dictionary? now it is ...

People only become stupid, when they lose their responsibility and become rude for no appearent reason. Giving insults and making fun of other people, are signs of how certain people don't know how to act mature. Without maturity and with rudeness, a person does often act stupid.

Also people who don't think normally when they have the ability to, can act stupid at times.

Seriously though, I do believe that to be true. People just don't use their brains. They are all too obsessed with things that have little to absolutely no relevance in their lives to even care about getting and education or let alone using it. Also the fact that the government seems to think that the arts are not as important as football and cheerleaders I'd say thats a huge **** yes.

They are now, and that is because they are moving away from their Judeo-Christian roots.

They fancy themselves intelligent, but it is only the pseudo-intelligence of manipulation, as they see all of life as a predator/prey game - they see the faculty of speech, as not that whose purpose is to relate the truth to another mind, but as simply telling the other person what he wants you to hear to manipulate you to a given purpose of his.

They have no *real* intelligence because they have no understanding of the real nature of anything, believing that all other things and persons are merely consumer items for their pleasure and ego.

And they consider vices such as impatience, manipulation, arrogance, pushiness, deception, etc. as virtues indicating their superiority.

It is incredible and surreal when you see such non-human humans in action, but they now exist in large numbers - something that would have not been thought possible 20 years ago.

I don't believe in stupide people. and you yourself should not. people this generation are as you can see when it comes to discovery and technology are very intellegent people.

being self centered is not stupid also. try looking at it a different view not stupid but brighter and brighter!
