My wife and I are moving out tomorrow. She to her parents, me to mine. I am 27 she is 25. We are not getting a divorce right now but it sure seems like it. We have been married for only 10 months and neither of us were ready for this. We still love eachother but our relationship over last year our relationship has been like bestfriends instead of husband and wife. I thought it was just and adjustment. She has an apartment lined up that she says is month to month. I don't know what to do should I leave her be for a while or try like hell to win her back. I have not been the most reliable with money and not made the biggest effort to make things work in the bedroom and our relationship but I was always afraid of getting shot down even though we are married. She has never really been single and by herself and she thinks she needs that right now. Marriage killed our relationship. What should I do?

she needs your attention the most and the first year of marriage is always the hardest. it's just adjusting to each others daily living life. give her those romantic moments. buy her dozen of roses, surprise her at work. leave her little love notes. make her feel special.

Marriage didn't kill the relationship, both of you allowed it to get this way, I can tell that you want to stay with her, and i think this situation has woken you up, and if you are willing to man up and do the things that you know you weren't doing tell her, if this is worth it, plead with her. If it means alot to her she will listen or she may want a little space, it's all about what you are willing to put up with. This is your life, don't waste time.

What makes you think that husbands and wives shouldn't be or feel like best friends? And FYI, 90% of the time someone says they need space, means they have someone else they are interested in.

I'm sorry you are going through this honey. Have a break so you can both stand back and decide whether you really want to make it work. Good luck.

i think you should try and give it all you've got to make it wrk. it sounds like you didnt fight hard enough for it, people work on their marriage every day, and 10 months is just not enough to see if you guys should or not be together.

i say, give it all you've got....

good luck
