I've been a KISS fan since I was 6 years old. I like all of their songs. Like them or not, they've lasted 40 years. I recently picked up their latest album Monster and it really is a great album. At 60 years old, Paul Stanley's voice is still strong.

I like the make-up, it's more theatrical. Makes them stand out from the rest of the bands. But even without the makeup, they really ROCK!
But I wish they would wax their chests

Definately has to be KISS with makeup - without it, it just doesn't seem like the same band.

i hate how even without the makeup he tries to look evil when really he looks like an ugly retard ....not a demon

I like them with and without makeup, both awesome in their own right - even Wicked Lester!!! If you've never heard of Wicked Lester before, do some research.....phenomenal stuff.

I love Kiss no matter what but i have to say with the make up, its the whole image and stage set that is just amazing. I saw them live twice with make up and it was wonderful.

I think they both work well but in different ways... kinda like Van Halen with Dave or with Sammy...

With makeup, because their music isn't that great and it is the gimmicks (costumes, makeup, huge flames, etc) that make them what they are.
