A torque wrench from any auto parts store will do. A lot of torque wrenches come with a 1/2 inch drive (lug where the socket attaches) If your sockets will not go on the torque wrench, they do sell adapter extensions. You didn't specify what you are torquing but I am assuming you are doing head gaskets right? Buy a manual for the car and it will have a torque specification chart inside. MAKE SURE TO REPLACE THE HEAD BOLTS!!!!!! Some of them are what they call stretch bolts and are only good for 1 use. If you don't the bolts will stretch even more causing the head to come loose and blow the head gasket apart

actually she is somewhat correct. there are torque to yield bolts that are only good for one installation. as for the torque wrench, be selective, think about the range you are going to use and what size of sockets that you are gong to use. you can get 1/4 3/8 or 1/2" drive torque wrenches, measuring inch pounds, foot pounds or newton meters (metric), also the range is a big factor for your shopping trip, some go from 0-80 others start at 20 and go to 200, you get the idea, right? just look at the specs for what you are going to be torquing and go from there. as for the torque specs, with out a book for the car in front of me, i don't have any information for you. i would pick up a good book if i were you, i have a chiltons for all four of the cars in my drive way at this point
