Did you not get a rules for parking with your badge? that will tell you. Around here you can park on a double yellow as long as its not a loading area and your not blocking anything. If your still not sure you could always ask a (shudder) Traffic Warden.

Yes you can,but only for a limited period.
The law, governing the use of a disabled badge
is usually printed on it. However, you must never park on double yellow lines if it is going to cause an obstruction.

Yes, you can with a valid badge and a clock showing time of arrival, up to three hours. Please see the official rules on this site:
http://www.parking-appeals.gov.uk/RegAndLeg/disabled.asp
If you click back on home page you can see all the rules regarding hours etc... The only lines on which you should never park are the red ones.
For the City of London, Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea the rules are different. See:
http://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/Corporation/our_services/highways_transport/parking+and+traffic/disabled.htm
Hope it helps.

Yes, just watch out for any restrictions and don't forget to put your timer card up. I did once and got a ticket.
You are allowed 3 hours.
