I want like arabian themed or beauty & the beast. something original. but I'm not sure about the dress or the party favors...

Beauty and the Beast? I thought this was for a 16 year old party, not a 3 year old party?
Why do you need a theme? Do girls still have sweet 16s? I think I am too old.

I think Beauty and the Beast is rather immature for a teens party. Look at this site to see other ideas for a 16th birthday party.

Two ideas come to mind for party favors:

The other idea is to get custom chocolate bars with your theme printed on them as well as your name and birth date. They are really cute. The molds are probably cheaper, but I really like these, too. i had a toga party. lol for an arabian theme buy red and purple things, like table clothes and decorations. get "gold" decorations and plastic gold coins. have everyone wear wispy clothes.

How about a "Welcome to the real world" theme? You have the party, and then your parents present you with the bill.
