My mom cooks with butter.. I only cook with butter, margerine is crap and it has a funny taste, I don't even keep the stuff in the house... Oh and I only use unsalted Butter..

She's gone now, but she mostly cooked with margarine, and saved the real butter for spreading on bread if company came over.
