Ovulation takes place 12-16 BEFORE your period. An egg can be fertilized within 24 hours, but sperm lives for about 5 days. Whether you get pregnant or not depends on the length of your cycle. An "average" cycle is 28 days, but who is average?
"For women that have shorter cycles (i.e. 21 days) and their menstruation occurs for 7 days, it is possible to ovulate right after your period. Ovulation is expected 12 to16 days before your next period begins, which would place your ovulation at days 6-10 of your cycle. In most cases ovulation is going to occur a few days after menstruation; this is normally between 11-19 days from the first day of your menstruation".
If your period ended July 18 and lasted 7 days, it probably started about July 11. So, you would have ovulated between July 22 and July 31. Therefore, you might not be pregnant. However, there are too many variables. Time will tell. You will have to wait and see.

You get pregnant when you are ovulating. Usually it is not right after your period, but in the middle of your cycle. It is what in the Catholic religion their only form of birth control, rhythm is based on. However, we all know that that form of birth control is almost as good as no control at all. Having stopped your period on July 118th and having sex now without protection is rather like playing Russian Roulette. You can never be exactly sure when you are fertile and you do stand a chance of getting pregnant. Also with all the diseases around, I hope this is a monogomous relationship. If it is a monogomous relationship go out and get on the pill or get an IUD. If it is not, do not have sex without a rubber, but you still should be taking precauctions yourself as with a rubber there is a great chance of it breaking a it is a high risk of you getting pregnant. You are the one who has to take the responsibility to keep this from happening, most men don't ask, they just assume that you have done your part.

You can get pregnant any time you have unprotected sex (even if you have protected sex, nothing is 100%) The best time to conceive is in mid-cycle, usually 2 weeks before your next period, but bear in mind, it can happen at any time of the month, although less likely

Yes, it's possible. Go get Plan B right now if you don't want to get pregnant, and learn from this and use protection EVERY SINGLE TIME. Plan B is more effective if you take it sooner: you don't have much time.

Yes, you can. Normally it's only safe up to about 8 days afterwards, depending on your cycle, since Sperm can live for a few days in the female body.

It depends on your personal menstrual cycle. You may still be fertile. Check out the following website to get some approximate times for the different phases of your cycle: http://www.babycenter.com/calculators/ovulation/
Good luck!

You need to be able to "read" your body for symptoms of ovulation. Nothing in a Yahoo Answers session will tell you for sure, so check out this link for details. It's amazingly effective.

you sound like you could be in your ovulation window.. you might be pregnant...
if you don't want to be go sit in the tub and (this is gross but) wash everything down there really well... inside and out... you could still have time to stop some sperm from getting to there destination!
good luck!
