I went to a Brooklyn Cyclones game I caught the first pitch of the game, a foul ball. Also at a Mets game a couple of years ago Craig Brazell hit a foul ball at a woman sitting in the seat down from me. It happens so fast I didn't even see what happened until it was over

Never caught one although I've had several just out of my reach including a few home runs. The only thing I've ever gotten at a sporting event was a practice hockey puck during warm ups.

I haven't caught one during a game. I did catch a Mark McGwire batting practice homerun in 1999.

Got a foul ball once. Kansas City, 1991.

The dear wife made a brilliant off-hand snare of a caroming foul at a minor league game a few years ago. She had the then-baby in her other arm and was in full-metal Mommy Defense Mode.

I got one from a minor league player. We went to a game and he was from Long Beach and that's where I'm from so he gave me a ball and signed it. I also caught one when the Angels came to town.

I've caught several over the years, but only kept one. It sits in a glass case in my home. Duke Snider fouled it off Whitey Ford in the 1955 World Series. It took me 20 years to get Duke to autograph it. I bumped into him at his restaurant in Fallbrook, California.

Yes. Feels good, don't it. :)
The most fun thing to do, is when a ball gets really close to you, is to take out a bat and hit it back onto the field. It really sucks when you whiff and hit somebody in the face, instead, though--getting sued and all. . . .
