hiya girls my best freind found out she was pegnant about a week ago and she hasnt told any 1 she told me 2 day i spoke 2 her about it and she said she dosnt want to keep the baby. and u have 2 be 16 2 have a abrotion with out a parent she has been upset and saying her life is point less now she cant tell no 1 beacuase she wun get any support of her family and she wun be able 2 get far in life i told her not 2 talk this way and every thing will be fine what do u think i should do 2 help her ? and what do u think she should do ? do u think i should tell her mum cause ths needs 2 be done or maybe if she told my mum about this beacuse they r qite close beacause she is always over my house and if she told my mum we could all have a talk about this and my mum couldhelp her out and help her tell her mum please help i am afraid that she is going 2 do something and she is only 14

Your idea for her to tell your mom first and then talk about what to do next how to talk to her mom is probably the best thing she can do ASAP.
Re abortion: if that is what she knows she wants than she should probably tell your mom that up front so she knows what the situation is when it is time to go to her mom
I hope everything works out and again you are being a very good friend trying to help her this way.

If she wants an abortion, she has to tell an adult. Just make sure she understands what happens when she gets an abortion. She wont feel free from the trouble of being pregnant. It's a traumatic experience and she'll need a good counselor. There are MANY people out there who can give good counseling. But just know that an abortion does not fix the problem. Another option would be to have the baby and give it up for adoption. Just make sure she speaks to an adult, somewhere! Hope this helps.

I don't think you should tell her mom but definately an adult should be told by her. There are a lot of places to get help, Planned parenthood or something like that. You sound like a great friend and she is lucky to have you. Stay by her side. You could maybe talk to your mom about it especially if you are afraid, good luck!

Yes, if she will talk to your mom that would be a start. Maybe your mom would be able to help her talk to her mom. Also, there should be planned parenthood centers around or some towns have centers for teens. There are a lot of options out there besides abortion. There are a lot of people wanting a baby and probity be willing to pay medical expenses in order to adopt her baby.

maybe you should try and talk to your mom evan if she dosent want you to it is in her and that little babys best intrest there are 2 young lives at risk right know with her thinking she cant go on with this, and im sure your mom will help you know what ot do and how to her
in some states there is the safe heaven law (where you can drop thee baby off at any hospital or firestation with out any questions asked

similar thing happened to my sister except she was a little older. tell your friend that the worst thing she can do is push her family away... i promise, telling your family is the best thing she can do in this situation. you are like a little twig, your family is like a bunch of twigs tied together. you can break a twig but you cannot break the group of them, it's too strong. I promise that the best decision would be to tell her family before she starts getting morning sickness etc. she really could use the support from her family and, as always, she could really use the advice. please, please, please let your friend read my response. this is coming from a family member who was very hurt from this whole situation. my sister told us and then felt like we would think less of her and hate her and so she pushed us away. she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and now we never see either of them. my family and i are constantly reminded by them and how we really wish she could just realize we are always here for her. dont let her make the same mistake my sister did! your family will always be there for you!

If she wants to abort she needs to talk to her parents ASAP. It is best to get an abortion between 6-12 weeks. After that, it becomes more difficult. She will not be able to solve this (properly) without her parents. She might want to talk to another caring adult in her life and that adult can be there when she tells her parents. Learn from this and don't have sex!!!!!!!!!

Wow!!!! Are you serious?? 14 and having sex?? unprotected sex??? I hope ypu do not do the same thing sdje does. it s not worth the look of disappointment in your family's eyes.
Anyway, tell your mum and have your mom talk to her mom. an adult has to know before she does something stupid. remember the cheerleader who was talking to oprah from prison for killing her baby.

years ago, a 14 year old girl got prenant. She was terrified but spoke to her mother. Of course she was furious and dissapointed but loved her daughter .The daughter knew abortion was an abomination and chose to have the baby. That baby went up for adoption and is typing this right now.Talk to your mothers. DO nOT get an abortion, you will regret it the rest of your days,having themurderous memory of ripping a tiny helpless human to pieces.You are old enough to know where babies come from,common sense says wait til you are married

please tell her she is not the only person this has happened to. my sister had an abortion and she wishes she had given the baby up for adoption instead. there are lots of places that will help her in every way. i did not look them up before answering, but i know every catholic church provides assistance (i am not catholic). if you type in unplanned pregnancys in a web search you will find tons of stuff. please encourage her to consider adoption as there are so very many people who cry every day because they cant get pregnant like her and will never get to love a child if they are all aborted. good luck to you all. everything will be fine even tho its hard to see it now.
