I've been to both many times. They are both very nice ballparks. Both are very clean compared to other ballparks I've been to (i.e. Dodger Stadium). Both stadiums are built so that each seat has a great view of the game. Each has something different to offer.
Safeco Field has a vast food selection. You can get the usual fare of hotdogs and nachos. But they have more "exotic" items such as sushi, Chinese, fish and chips, and clam chowder. YUM! Also in the 100 level in left field, you can see pitchers warming up in the bullpen. They also have a little play area for kids to run around the bases. Safeco has a great view of the Seattle skyline and if you're higher up in the 300 level, you can also see the waterfront.
San Francisco is all about the view and the hands-on elements at the park. Being next to the water, ATT has a great view of the cove and the Bay Bridge. They have the Coca-Cola slide where kids can slide down three different slides. (It's where the Coca-Cola bottle is). They also have a replica trolley car you can sit in. They also have a fog horn that splashes water up when a home run is hit. Like Safeco, there is a play area for kids to run around the bases (it's where the big glove is).
Both are very nice parks and worth going to. I've had wonderful experiences at both parks, so I can't say one is better than the other. I would say Seattle is my favorite AL park and SF is my favorite NL park.

Safeco Field is a great park, and has lots of amenities. I've been there many times. It sure beats the "Concrete Wart," AKA the Kingdome, which I somehow miss, anyway.
AT&T looks terrific, and the whole McCovey Cove thing is just awesome. But I haven't been there, so I don't know exactly like with "the Safe." Probably it's a tie. . . .

Haven't been to either one yet. But, I heard a story about AT&T Park which is quite funny. The team across the bay from San Francisco is the Athletics. They started out in Philadelphia many years ago.
It seems that the outer facade of AT&T Park is a replica of Shibe Park, where the Philadelphia Athletics played. Looks like the Giants' architect decided to jab an historical stick in their eye. LOL!

Forget all these new parks--give me Wrigley Field or Fenway Park any day.
It's funny how a lot of the 70s ballparks with Astro Turf were called "cookie cutter" parks. Most of the new parks in the past 20 years have been designed by the same company, and a lot of them have similar characteristics.

if you want history/tradition then it has to be Yankee stadium, Fenway and Wrigley. But, I haven't been to Safeco or A&TT to give you a good answer which is better.
FYI.. Miller park is cool
