I use to have a "stupidvisor" for a boss and he would change the schedule almost every frikin' day without even inquiring if I might have plans or not. I ended up quitting and finding a better job. Personally I wouldn't answer the phone if he calls. After all it is not your fault that he can't make out a schedule properly. Enjoy your days off!

WTF depends I suppose on a couple of different things. Whether or not you have plans, how much you enjoy your job, if you like your supervisor and/or boss, if you could use the extra cash. So the decision is all up to you and includes many different factors.

he probably wants you to quit. are you close to retirement or approaching a date at which you've been with the company long enough to receive additional, improved or permanent benefits?
