Well I got back in touch with a girl I went to college with.. I dated her one time... well recently I started talking to her on Facebook. She gave me her number, so I tried to call... no answer. But she does text me a lot, but never calls for some reason... well we were texting a lot, and feeling a connection again... she wanted to meet up tonight but I had to work.. well she was disappointed and all. So we were having a normal conversation and suddenly she says, "I am older than you... normally I date guys a few years older than me. Girls mature faster than guys."
I said, "is that a problem?" And she said.. "No, its cool.."
She still texts me and can't wait to meet back up.. but dang..
What kind of signal am I getting???

Most likely she does feel a little uncomfortable about it. Because if she didn't she wouldn't have brought that to your attention. But, on the other hand, she did say that it's cool and she can't wait to meet up with you again. The thing you have to figure out is, is she sincere......or is she just saying that to be nice? Once you figure that out then you will be able to feel alot more comfortable and confident in the situation. Good luck!

Why are you looking for mixed signals. It sounds like she was just making conversation about the age thing. Maybe she is nervous about the whole thing.
It's so much easier talking to someone online or text messaging. But you can not interpret a lot of emotions that way.
Just meet her with an open mind and see how it goes.

Since there is such a small age difference, I would almost wonder if she was kidding. But I guess you would know if she was. Guess you could tell her that she shouldn't be robbing the cradle and see if you get a laugh out of her, lol.
In all seriousness though, I think she may have been a little irritated with what happened and that was just her way of retalliating. If she is still anxious to see you, then sounds like things are still fine to me. Good luck to you...hope things work out.

She is just using you to pass the time, she is making excuses to you why she doesn't think you two will work. Text communicating is kind of impersonal especially for a new relationship.

After age 25 it is all relative... really... you are both grown folks and should be supporting yourselves now, and fully able to take responsibility for your own actions.
Perhaps you need to find ways of showing her how mature you really are.

shes debating if she wants to give dating a younger guy a try and wants to hear positive reinforcement from you saying "just give me a shot. it'll be worth it" shes trying not to get too attatched too soon and wants to know if youre worth it or not. shes also hinting that 1)act a little more mature 2)your not exactly her type

she's trying to test you whether about your personality and your interest on her. maybe she wants to know how far will you and your patience be to get to know her. you had disappoint her once, it's good she gave you a 2nd chance to communcate her - luck for you that she has her door open.
