They want equality, and everyone to have the same.
It won't accomplish anything because no one will have any incentives to accomplish or invent new technologies.
We will stagnate like all socialist countries.

Control is the wrong word. Most liberals would like greater government REGULATION of industry. Why?

Junk Bond Scandals

You mean to say, "In my opinion, Liberals support socialist control over industry, but why?".
Are you afraid that the Neo-con fascists are on the verge of loosing their political/financial control of the very thing you accuse the liberals of coveting?

No, not all liberals are socialists, my friend.
Many liberals support socializing health care, because they believe that caring for oneself should not be a profit based venture. It's a basic humanistic belief, and they are trying to bring it to fruition in America.
Socializing all of industry, is not something liberals believe in. That would handicap America's businesses in the world market, and cripple our economy.

No I do not support socialist control over industry. Maybe you could ask me what I think first before accusing me of such things. That would be nice.

Gore Vidal suggested something like: "in basic terms positioned, politics is approximately who takes money from whom to pay for what." All money the government spends comes from taxes and costs. There are no longer separate buckets that pay for salaries, or wars, or subsidies, or advantages. recover from it. whilst it took quite a few days this wintry climate for northeastern cities to dig out from some huge blizzards, my boss talked approximately that taxes are the value we pay for a civil society. Why we don't get civility is yet another yet another question.

I don't understand where people get this from. It's just like the people who claim all republicans are fascists.
So much polarization, eh?
