Those primitive organisms belong to the Kingdom Monera, which consists of the bacteria and bluegreen "algae". They are prokaryotic (which means no nucleus) and have no internal membranes. Thus they have no Golgi apparatus, endoplasmic reticulum, chloroplasts, mitochondria, etc. They are the simplest form of cellular life.
