Honeybees are the only ones that die when they sting you. There are 20,000 species of bees. Bumblebees don't die when they sting you. Nor do carpenters bees, or so on. The honeybee could die instantaneously, but if not I'd give it about two to three seconds after that for it to be clinically dead. By then any death spasms should be over, or death throes.

As soon as a bee loses it's stinger, it will fly off and die but , some bees can sting up to five times or better before dieing
