I can remember right after W.W.II Americans of Japanese Decent were feared and treated very badly. Even those who had nothing to do with the bombing of Pearl Harber. Most had been American's for generations. That was not fair. Isee a repete happing in this war with American Muslims.

I agree with you that people do not trust Muslims., even those who are American born, Barack Obama gets a lot of bad flack just because he has a Muslim name. People feel the need to point that out. He wasn't even raise Muslim. He was raised by his white Grandparents. But because of fear of Muslims I think his father being Muslim will cost him the Primary election.

Actually, we're doing a good deal better than in WW2. Then, panic led a large number of Americans to see all of Japanese descent as a threat--and they were herded into concentration camps.

Now, htat's not happening. The main difference is tha tmost Americans have a much saner view and understanding of people.

The tiny minority who are screaming for such measures against Muslims are simply intolerant bigots and racists. They are no more filled with hate than ever--but this trash is taking advantage of events to spew their filth.

Screw politicians , i guess we really need a responsible person to step up

Maybe not terrorist, but they won't stand up and turn them in either. They support them, in many other ways, financing, jobs, food , shelter, false documentation! So please, don't compare Muslims with The poor mistreated Japanese Americans, that's insulting to me and to any Japanese that were interred in camps here in America. These same non-terrorist still commit Honor Killings, female genital mutilation and many other atrocities. So don't think they are so saintly! Their basic doctrine is to convert us, enslave us or kill us, it's in the Quran they all believe in! Don't buy into their BS! Don't forget these were the same people video taped dancing in the streets of American cities on 911 celebrating the attack. I WILL NEVER FORGET!!!
By the way Goodwill, McVeigh and Nichols met with Islamic extremists here in OKC, just before the bombing, they DID NOT ACT ALONE! I have spoken with people that witnessed it, but the FBI suppressed this information

No, not all Muslims are terrorists. obviously a very small percentage of them are, the extremists, o the pawns of the extremists. I would imagine that the other peace loving Muslims are upset with others in their own religion being terrorists, too.

Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols were terrorists, too. Are all Americans terrorists?

No, and no rational person could either.

Do the math. 1.3 billion Muslims. 20% of the world's population.

Let's say even 1% of all Muslims (.2% of the world's total population) were Terrorist. That's 13 million.

At that rate, we could have 1300 terrorist suicide bombers per day, every day, and it would take 30 years before that 1% of the population was gone. That's assuming no new recruits.

Are we seeing 1300 suicide bombers daily or 1300 terrorist attacks daily -- no. And that's assuming only 1% are terrorists.

One can not think that all Muslims are terrorists but the general feeling of fear towards them still exists even though they are not terrorists. It's just the human nature to generalize people unconsciously.

Moderation in all things, esp. religion. My Uncle was raised in a Japanese camp, so I appreciate where you are coming from. I do not fear all, but I do fear the lack of resistance from the non-extremists.

No. And you forgot all the Germans who were imprisoned. Without prayer rugs or Korans. Where was the ACLU?

No reasonable person thinks that all Muslims are terrorists. But most rational people realize that most terrorists are Muslims.
