something that told me who it was so I would know if I wanted to answer or not...

OH MY GOODNESS... what a great question, I wish I had thought of that! LOL :o)
I would choose almost anything other than the "the old school bell" type we have...
If you can only hear it, it would drive you insane!
It's one of them where you can see the "clapper"... I can't describe it... so below is a link of a picture that shows what it's like...
Anyway, I think something with a soothing sound would be one I would choose...
I'll search some sounds tomorrow & see if I can find something more specific.
Too tired right now... LOL :o)

A regular doorbell sound. Mine just does this annoying buzz.

The voice of a famous celebrity (preferably a rapper with a mean voice saying "Yo, who dat at the door? Hey I'm talking to you, yea. Hey!! Can someone pleaaase get the door?"

The sound of a thousand tiny clocks. That way I would always know what time it is, but the clocks would be so small that they wouldn't be too loud.

Anything except what it sounds like now, Right now it sounds like a jail cell opening BUZZ. Its loud and terriable. My land lord won't fix it.
