You should never do something you're not ready to do. The relationship is about you and him, no one else. I understand that you want him to stay with you but if he wants to have sex with you, he should respect you. The only way I see respect is talking about it before. I had sex for the first time when I was 18. I'm not preaching anything, because I believe people are ready at different times. It takes a lot from you, emotionally. If you aren't sure about it now, and have sex, you're going to experience a lot of things emotionally afterward. Think about you in this whole situation. If you don't want to, tell him. If he gets upset, then maybe you made the right choice. Guys that get upset from not having sex are only looking for that one thing. I'm sorry about your situation and I hope things work out for you. Remember, be careful and think about how you're going to feel. And if you decide to move to the next step, be safe and use protection.

If I am safe indoors - I love them - love watching them out the window (from a safe distance of course!) if I am outside its a different matter, I get nervous and trembly and feel as if I am about to get struck by lightening at ANY moment! Hate being out in them!

Of course, a lot of people are, more so if you've had a bad experience in one.

People tend to associate them with floods, etc.. so it can be a scary thing for some.

It is wise to be cautious of lightning, but there is no reason to be overly frightened.
