u^3-125v^3
=(u)^3-(5v)^3
=(u-v){(u)^2+u*5v+(5v)^2}
=(u-v)(u^2+5uv+25v^2)

This is a difference of two cubes (of the form "a^3 - b^3", with a=u and b = 5v). One factor is therefore "a-b" or (u - 5v). Divide to get the other polynomial factor.

difference of cubes is (u-5v)^3 because if you multiply out u-5v three times, you get that original polynomial
