are they comfortable.....which one is best for standing for long periods of time

they are OK for standing. their styles are very dull and old fuddy duddy.

I actually prefer dankso and mephisto, but they are a lot more expensive. My sister in law who is a nurse usuall usually wears brooks running shoes when on duty at the hospital.

You should go to the store and try them on. JC Penney carries a big variety. All depend the style you like. Usually they are all very comfortable.
