Girly...
I was "ugly" too at 12. Chubby, pale as pale, puffy hair, ugly smile...I could go on forever. Ohh and my boobs were lopsided.

But...my 8th grade, I came into my own. Now, I actually get told a lot I'm "pretty" or "gorgeous". And my boobs have magically un-lopsided themselves LOL.

So don't worry about it. You're body will change and you'll feel better about yourself with time. But I'm sure you're not really ugly...you're your own worst critic.

My advice...
always wash your face, never go to sleep with makeup on.
use good products for your hair.
get good exercise..not too much though.
and...
feel good about yourself. did you know that if you feel beautiful, you actually look prettier?

It's true.

You aren't ugly. You're 12. Look around. The rest of your class ain't so hot, either. And trust me. They all think they're ugly too. You'll grow out of it.

Lots of beautiful women were total geeks at 12 and even older. Then they grew into beautiful swans. Did you ever read the Ugly Duckling??

For now, if it bothers you, exercise to lose your tummy. Sit ups will help. Eating right will help both your tummy and acne. Conditioner with a hair thickner in it will help your dry, thin hair. I can't help you with the red freckly face, but personally, I think that's cute. There are makeup techniques however, to help downplay an uneven complexion. And only God can grow you a set of boobs. Just pray alot. I didn't get mine until I was 19 and out of school. That was a lot of prayin'!!

Good luck and don't sweat it. Trust me, you won't be 12 forever.

The person you have to impress most is yourself. Confidence is very attractive and overcomes most physical imperfections. If you are a bit overweight and want to do something about it, exercise and eat healthy. There's nothing magical about it, but it does take self-discipline. If you want to do something about your hair, go to a salon--they will be able to do something that you find attractive. If money is a concern, look into getting your hair done at a beauty school, they will be very cheap but will be able to do a professional job and show you how to get a similar look when you do it yourself. As for the zits, that comes with the territory of being 12. If it is extreme, see your doctor. If it is just a few, they can probably treated with an over-the-counter face cleanser. As for your freckles and chest size--DO NOT WORRY! Freckles can be very cute and you are not fully developed. Even if you remain slightly endowed, there are plenty of guys that like smaller chests. Guys stare at big chests because they are so obvious. It's sort of like a car wreck, you stare at it, but you don't necessarily want to have anything to do with it. Again, confidence and good sense of humor goes a heck of a long way to being attractive.

Well if you want to loose the tummy lay off on fat food and eat healthy food. Like fruits and Vegetables. Go on a run everyday doesn't have to be a lot. You can do more everyday. Wash your face every morning and every night before going to bed. use Cover up. Make sure you find the right tone for your skin. Don't use too much!! Wear fabric that has designs and patterns it Camouflages your body weight if your a little overweight. Don't wear stripes!!! Thats a big no if you have a little weight on. Don't worry about the chest area!! no stuffing...nothing could be more embarrassing then tissue hanging out of your shirt!! trust me i see it a lot! not good!!! if you or your friends need any type of advice email me at TeresaKnosBetter@aol.com i give great advice and will help!! Thanks!!!

You are not ugly! Inner beauty is what counts. Do some crunches every day for your tummy. Wear a nice smooth cover up. Use toothpaste on zits at bedtime or buy some over the counter stuff. Use a volume shampoo and conditioner. Wear a bit of a padded bra. Don't stress, it will be fine.

hahahahahahaha
youre 12!!!!!!!
im 23 and i finally got boobs and thats ONLY cause im going to be having a baby soon. honestly sweetie - you have bigger boobs than i did before i was pregnant haha!! at 12 i didnt even know what a bra was haha...

zits, i still got them. wash your face twice a day. youre going through puberty - youre gonna have zits!
if youre wearing make up - get make up remover, sea breeze,a dn a toner and a moisturizer. ask your mom if you can go to an estatician and get a facial? and then you can get some products to wash your face with at home.

if your face is red - ask your parents about a dermatologist appointment.

your tummy you can grow out of - just do sit ups if youre that worried.

as for your hair - its dry? use biosilk or kerastase products. and if your hair is thin - try a new hair cut to give it some body - add layers.. also aveda control paste adds texture and body.

PS - there is zero way dairy helps you loose weight!! cheese? fat! sour cream? fat! milk? fat! if anything CUT OUT DAIRY...

Its called puberty.

If you use a good acne cleanser from now on your zits will clear up.
Love your freckles. Its something cute and unique about you.
Who says "a bit of a tummy" is so bad? You should want curves, not sticks.
Use a moisturizing volume shampoo.
Your breasts will grow as you continue to grow. Once again, your only 12 and your still in puberty.

And lastly, you shouldn't call yourself ugly. We are all different for a reason. Learn to love yourself for who you are. If you want to impress people, get some confidence!

I have always considered my self to be an ugly fat person too but now i have learned that real beauty comes from within let your personality shine through you have to learn to love and accepted yourself, ask you mom to take you to a dermatologist or if you cant afford that there are allot of grate products out there, when i was 12 1 didn't even were a bra i had nothing to put in it diet and exercise weren't for me so i walked allot and drank large amounts of water and some times i would put lemons in it but not to much because of the acid in it. I'm older now and have medium size boobs and i still have freckles and a tummy, you have to live for you. i know kids can be very cruel and its hard being a teen but you will blossom into a beautiful Young woman. PS not all of us can be a 10 for others just for our selves.

OK....change the way you think about yourself. Your face isn't red and freckly, instead you have a natural blush and a healthly look (freckles are way cute!). If you don't like your tummy, do some crunches. You can find lots of tummy exercises online.
Ask your parents to get you some zit cream....Neutrogena has some good products.
You'll get boobs soon enough. 12 is young, so have fun!

everyone has a rough time around, esp. around that age. as you begin to grow, youll mature and grow out of these things. believe me, i know exactly what your going through.

for your tummy, you will probably start growing and that will probably go away with time, but exercise always helps.

i have a pretty red face also, but i excentuate my freckles with a brush of frosty pink blush over them.

for the zits, wash your fash twice a day {maybe more depending on your skin}, exfoliate about 3 times a week, and use astringent after you finish washing your face. i find this to work very well. i also use clearsil's daily moisturizer which helps reduce oil.

for your hair, i suggest garne fructis hair mask. it strengthens and makes your hair shiny. also maybe try to get a good haircut for thin hair.

as for the flat chest, you will mature! it takes time, so give yourself somemore time.

i hope this helps and dont worry! just have a fun time at school!
