And you went through the proper channels with Customer Care and nothing happened. Maybe they responded by acknowledging your petition, but nothing ever came about as a result?

Was your account suspended or even deleted?

Was this because somebody got annoyed with what you posted or perhaps just because they had an axe to grind that day?

You couldn't do anything about it, could you? Somebody was abusing the "report violation" button, and you were getting the short end of the stick.

Well, you can fight this "injustice" by going to

Maybe if enough of us get together, we can persuade Yahoo! Answers to revamp their seemingly robotic report system.

Thanks.

Or you can just go ahead and report me.

Yes! And someone else told me that they'd posted the same question and nothing happened. It made me really sad because it was by far my most answered question and I was getting really interesting answers. I asked on yahoo answers board why my question was deleted and no one could tell me, it broke absolutly NO rules whatsoever. It was a perfectly tame question too. They don't read the reports befor deleting.

EDIT: Question: what do you mean "hunt down the nazis"? How can you know who reported?

I agree with you!!...I tryed every thing to get in contact with some one from yahoo and nothing, I lost all my contacts with important phone numbers some files and on & on, They deleted my account for a stupid reason, at least give me a warning if they were going to do that. Some people are just mental and dont have a voice for them self, they cant speak up, so they have to report you, Wow big person. You losers get a life and stop crying cause you probably cant hack it in the real world.

I have got a violation before that I knew wasn't fair, and disputed it and got my points back.I only did that once though, I don't bother anymore. The best thing you can do is hide your questions and answers in your profile like I do mine, because people will actually go through all of them and report them all. I was getting violations from answers or questions that I posted months ago,so I deiced to make my Q/A private.
