most of the ones i know of aren't,they wont pay off if something happens to it,and they all seem to have deductibles attached to them,so the one you get from the dealer on it is the best, the other ones are really a waste of money, they do have a way of getting you to buy these though, they,ll tell you how good they are,and all of that, but in reality ,you,ll probably never get to collect from it,good luck on it.

Remember the people that sell these things are banking on you not doing something correct so they can deny the warranty. They also bank on the fact that most people do not keep there vehicles long enough to need the warranty. If you are talking about a used vehicle there are some out there that are worth looking at. They give you piece of mind when buying a used car.

Universal Underwriters extended warranty is about the best you can take your car to who you want to. Manufactures plans are good but more costly for the best premium or Gold plans and you have to go back to the dealer. My 2006 GTO is covered by a 100,000 extended warranty From Universal Underwriters... Not GM extended warranty.

Not a good idea. I worked for dealers for many years and the non dealer warranty is going to be a headache to get them to pay. If they can worm out of it, they do.

I have one for my car, with G.E. They must be good b/c it just paid for a $900.00 repair on my car. Just look at all the coverages before buying one. Check out the deductibles and all the small print.

I think it's worth it because there's nothing worse than buying a car and then having to pay for something that goes wrong with it while you're still making car payments. It might not cover everything that goes wrong with your car...but at least you have it there for backup so you don't have to pay for EVERY repair.

no car manufacture carries it's own warrant they are all supplied buy other insured CO. you must read the small print and pick the right one for you. The best will always cost the most with little or no $ detectable.

Do not buy the extended warrenty when you buy the car new, it voids yours and replaces it, If you have 5/50,000 warrenty and buy a five year extended warrenty, you don't get a thing..........Nuf Said
