I'm looking for a babysitting job and the only good website I found was craigslist.org for classifieds. Do you know of any other good websites where I can find a local babysitting job?

Hon, never look online for babysitting jobs. It is very, very dangerous. You don't know the family, it could be a perv.
Babysit in your neighborhood with family or friends.
It's safer. One has to be careful these days.

try advertising in your building/neighborhood. Your parents probably wouldn't object to you babysitting for a neighbor. Yeah, sorry. I am lost as well. My parents won't let me babysit, it stinks. So i'm sorry, i don't know! eh? Maybe you can sit down with them, Sit them on the couch, And try TALKING TO THEM, and TELL THEM ABOUT IT, tell them about the problem, Just keep trying. Sorry. (Try talking to them, tell them that you think you are old enough and responable enough to babysit other children, tell them your age, i dont need to know, then tell them that you want a job, you want to babysit!) You CAN'T get a job, even simply babysitting untill you are 18 or older, And you HAVE to get LICENS to babysit others. Best of luck as everyone says. Maybe you should go to a certain school to teach you about babysitting, and emergence situations. Babysit for people YOUR PARENTS know. Make a secret code (Exaple: HEY MOMMY!) so that they know to pick you up Emedently. Seems like your parents are only being protective with you for the right reasons. babysitting is a lot of responsibility! Anything can happen with kids and sometimes even adults dont know exactly what to do in case of an emergency with children because all situations are all different. You also need to take inconsideration is that if something ever happened to these children you babysit, the family can sue you and it wouldnt be good. Also there are lots of sick men out there and you have to be careful that they can take advantage of you when noone is around. be careful! ask your parents if you can babysit at your house.... they might trust you a little more if they see how you work with the children! it might just be that they are really worried for YOU, OnLine predators find children over the net, Acting like a teen or another child. Also your parents proble just dont want you geting hurt.
