Drugs will always be around to much money to be made .Take the profit out of the equation and that should do it or at best slow it down. Major Smote of Baltimore city was the only one who had a good idea about legalizing drugs by taking the profit out of it, but everyone thought he was mad.Maybe the ones who shot the idea down are the very same one who are profiting off of the drugs.

Torture in any form or for any reason can never be justified in any civilised country its a barbaric practise and says more about the people condoning it than who they do it to .why are drugs illegal anyway Alcohol is a major cause of violent crime and causes as many health problems and is just as addictive .
if drugs were sold the same way as alcohol and tobacco that would cut out the the dealers and profiteering so half the problem would be solved because the top men would move onto something else if there wasn`t a profit to be made from drug trafficking
The fact is drugs have always been about even ancient civilisations used them and even prescribed drugs can be addictive and have appalling side effects

you read the daily mail -ergo - you are everything that is wrong with this country.

if you like this kind of thing so much then maybe sod off and go and live in a brutal dictatorship, and see how you much you really like it.

how would feel if it was your son/brother/loved one being degraded and tortured? what if they were innocent, it surely happens?

protection of civil liberites is just as important , if not more so, than prevention of crime. Get over it.

and stop reading the whingeing, poison-spewing daily (hate) mail

y not just make some drugs LEGAL??? like marijuana, clearly less dangerous -- as far as the mental tole, & price paid by society) than alcohol & probably even tobacco.

y not spend less $ on jailing people for drug offenses, as long as they arent VIOLENT ones.... & try keeping child molesters, murders & rapists in JAIL FOR A CHANGE
