Do you think that one day, maybe in a thousand years, most of the people on earth will have mixed with each other and then their will only be small pockets of people who aren't. What would that be like when people who aren't mixed are the ones who are hated instead of the other way around?

My friend J and I were just talking about this today. Society has a lot of advancement to make before then, in the elimination of prejudices. Lets hope all nations can live together peacefully too. If not, culture will not have learned at all.

Insane question, and completely valid. I think you're wrong, but not like you would think...I think your timeline is off, I'm thinking that we could all be one lovely caramel colored world in five hundred years, provided that generations continue to multiply as it were. Hopefully though, theoretically, at least, there won't be anything left to hate - by the time we are all the same, there are no differences to point out, and the pocket people will be the older generation that will sooner be a dying breed.

Yeah, they'll probably be mixed with dogs and horses, too.

But the ones who aren't mixed, they still have the right to be proud.

I don't know of anyone who isn't mixed-even if they're as pale as me. My family is Scottish and Irish. That's a mix. My husband' family is French and English. That's a mix. Our skin tones won't change. We'll still have dark, brown, tan, olive, etc. skin tones. There will still be brown, green, blue, hazel, etc. eye colors.
