Keeping up the appearence of patriotism and political moderation exacts an enormous cost on the psyche of liberals. Every day that they are living a lie, is one more day to bottle up their true identity which is not healthy.

Instead of trying to say "We support the troops, just not the war" why don't they come out and admit: "Yea, OK we hate the war AND the troops, too. What are you cons gonna do about it?!"

And instead of trying to claim: "We aren't really socialists, we just seek a more equitable distribution of wealth" why don't they just admit: "Yea, we ARE socialists and proud of it too! Viva Stalin, Viva Castro, and Viva Che!"

Stubbs: why, yes. Sen. Joe McCarthy is not only a hero of mine, but of all patriotic and freedom-loving Americans.

You're probably right, unfortunately, if they were to outline their true socialist agenda, they would probably loose their base. At least I would hope that given their true intentions, most Americans would tar and feather their sorry azzes.

Wouldn't pseudocons be a lot less hate filled and obnoxious if they could embrace honesty EVEN ONCE?

Maybe have the guts to admit that they are really sociopaths who care nothing for America, the Republic, the Troops or anything else except how much their share of government corruption comes out to?

Or even just admit that the rate of growth in the size and power of Government always increases faster under Republicans?

Or how about that Bush shouldn't have both cut taxes and then spent like there's no tomorrow?

Embracing a total lack of conscience isn't nearly the same thing as being honest.

You're telling me I hate my family? What an ego you have. Yes, I have 3 family member whom I love and are very proud of over there right now. One just re-enlisted. They believe this was a mistake but will continue fight because they feel responsible for the innocent Iraqi people that have been affected by this.

You know, you should come up with a better nickname than "cons".

DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOUR ASKING? It would be great to the great American Spirit alive again. I am sick and tired of hearing people and our own media blaming America first. How can you truely not love the country that is so good to you.

LMFAO...LIBERALS EMBRACING HONESTY...what would happen to tax and spend if they truthfully told the electorate who pays for all the welfare schemes...nice thought though.

You know, liberals are not the only ones who dislike bush or want to bring the troops home. I am a conservative and i feel very betrayed by bush. He is not a conservative, he turned out to be a liberal neocon.
