Philosophy, depends on what subject you're talking about. It's used to explain a vast array of theories or something simple as common sense. First thing that comes to my mind is contimplating morality and ethics. To use it as an avatar name means you're searching for answers based on facts. Good choice.

I would say that it is curiosity. Curiosity about everything. If it's philosophy of science, then it's wanting to know just what science is and isn't and why. Why, why why. why indeed. Philosophy or religion may be to find out the truth about something that religion teach and why they are different. Why people are different might be a question in the philosophy of psychology. I suppose you could have questions as to why people like sports, how can the do better. Does attitude make a difference. Some people mostly want to understand words and why we get so mixed up with words and how to clear our words and our heads and find out what's true. Oh, well, I guess that's all I have.
