It's a tie between:
- Does Anybody Hear Her, by Casting Crowns
- Story of A Girl, by Nine Days.

I also like a song from the soundtrack in the movie, Team America - "America, fxck yeah!"

Both songs resemble my life..

Interpretation of "Does Anybody Hear Her"
- The first verse explains her completely. End of story.
In the chorus it explains her also, but more so that she recently joined a church and says that she wants God and everybody to forgive her for all that she's done. The second verse explains her completely also. Her family was never the type to show love and affection.
- This song is speaking of PEOPLE who are lost and hurting and searching for the love of God - although they may not even know that THAT is what they are looking for.
- They judge people as they come into their *church* and they won't hear what she needs, she needs a person to trust in and the only one she will find is God but she doesn't think that he will even listen to her because of this thing that is making her go down. And so she just decides to run the opposite way because she sees this life as no way to live so she runs the *wrong* way, sometimes we don't realize that the way we judge people could hurt them enough to turn them from Christ, so the next time you want to judge someone think twice before you do, you could be bringing someone down when they are already on their knees.
- This is a very personal song for me. The first time I heard it, I actually started crying.

Interpretation for Absolutely Story of A Girl:
- A nice and friendly girl was quick to smile but whenever she was by herself she always looked sad.
- A man who claims to be in love with a woman, damages her, but he knows he loves her, and that soon or later they will reunite, and he's just waiiting for that, he's also sorry for damaging her. "Wearing the holes in the souls of her shoes" is a way of telling the way she dresses and the way her soul has ''holes''. Kind of a depressing line. The line about the wind is the direction things are going,, and the way they are separated.
- The song is about this girl who has had a lot of stuff happen to her. All of these things make her untrusting and kinda closed off, and this kinda drives the guy up the wall. But he wants to stick around because he loves her and wants her to be happy. And even though she's always sad, he wants nothing more than to make her happy. But sometimes, he catches himself lying to her, just to try and make her happy, though it's not on purpose.

And that, is my story.
