We have 35 acres of electrical fence .Also 8 strand of high tensel strength wire. We wont to be able to see the remote corners of our fences across at night to make sure that they fence is making a complete circuit..We have looked for neon strobes or something that would set of brillant flashes with every pulse of the fence .Something that works well and for long periods of time..Something we can see.. If anyone knows of anything that could help me that I could wire directly into the fence please let me know .? I cant seem to find anything that will let me know when its working. We have the solar charger that blinks when working and completing circuit but the main wire going into the fence was not connected and the flasher was working so we thought it was working and the only reason we didnt know is the horse walked by the window..We also have a strand around the house to keep the horses immediately from around the house..If you can help I would appreciate it thanks!

Hi, No offense meant in this, but curiousity. I was raised on a 100 acre farm and we had horses, though never electrified a fence.

Might there not be some monitoring system, similar to an alarm system in a house, that would alert you of any disruptions in service? One might be in the barns/stalls, while the other is in the house?

Certainly the mechanics for electrifying the fence have to be accessible somewhere.

I am in a position as a building maintenance Mgr. to have access to the alarm system. On the keypad for example, one sets the alarm with a code. If the doors open, which are on Mag Locks, (Closing or opening a circuit) the alarm beeps; for a specific amount of time, until and unless it's disarmed with a code.

since you have one complete circut i would think you could buy a light that matches the voltage of your unit, install the light in one spot you can see it from,if the light is on,you have a circut,if it's off,you don't.
