LOL. Is this a trick question? You used the word "illegal" and then asked if they were "criminals". But for real most of them do not cause problems. They just work, work, and work to have money to send back to there poor families and live a better life. All of our families have done this EXACT same thing. Even the very very first aliens, The pilgrims, came to America "illegally" right?. For what..To get a better life :). And there were criminals among them.

Illegal aliens may not have been criminals in their home country. But when they entered the US without properly applying for citizenship, they became criminals here.

There is a pattern of criminality. Technically, they enter illegally which breaks the law. They have fake ID's which breaks the law. Most fake ID's are through identity theft which breaks the law. They get employment using fake ID's which breaks the law. {Employer's turn a blind eye to the fake ID's and that's a criminal act too.} If they don't get gainful employment, then they go to our social services and apply for benefits with fake ID's - which breaks the law. They bring their families over with fake ID's and they apply for social services benefits or just start having some babies. However you want to slice this rump roast - it is criminal from the get go.

Criminals yes they did cross illegally. Doubt they are all bad people but the law is the law.

By definition the second they cross the border without permission they have committed a misdemeanor punishable by six months in jail and deportation. A criminal is someone who breaks the law.

If you are asking are they 'bad people' the answer is no, but they still should be sent packing and come back legally.

Yes they violated the law entering the country, therefore they are criminals. It's not a hard concept for rational people to understand.

they violated immigration laws of the united states. They are international criminals. They don't even care that they broke the law. The law is meaningless to them. Why should we think that they won't break every law that they consider to be wrong?

Yes, just them coming here without the proper paperwork is a criminal act. Otherwise they are known as immigrants.

Re-read your question - carefully and slowly:
"Do you think all ILLEGAL aliens are criminals?"
