Let me explore the possibilities, One if you had to go the bathroom right in the middle of eating you would need to cover them up, Two you would have to hold them in your lap(to keep other people from eating them)so you would have to cover them up between bites, Three if your tennis ball can has been damaged, after you eat them all, you can store your tennis balls in them. So you see, the resealable lid does have it's use.

Because that container is one of the best to mail cookies or whatever to the boys in Iraq. Try it, I am 100% positive the soldiers overseas would LOVE to get some home made cookies. Otherwise, they keep well if you don't finish the whole can. Don't throw the empty can away, donate it to a service that are sending things overseas if you don't want to send your home made cookies.♥♥♥♥
