Talent. Assuming you are going to a reputable agency. They have all ready seen your photo and have determined that you are attractive or interesting enough to audition. They now want to know if you have enough skill to sell you to casting directors.
If you are going to a shady audition, they are looking for a pigeon to cheat.

I worked at a place that did auditions so one of the things they looked for was personality. How the person looks on camera, how they speak. Does it look natural, does it look fake?

They are in business to make money same as anyone else. They want to see talent, skill and a marketable look. They want people who can book jobs. Become one and you can get an agent. Simple.

A type (looks and personality) that they feel they can get auditions and that they don't already represent too many of.
Formal training.
Professional work experience.
Union Memberships.
Special Skills
Good attitude.
Confidence.
Among many other factors.

Well, if it's free you might as well check it out. Just start looking further into it once they start talking numbers. If you're younger, make sure a parent goes with you!
