I expect him to be decent and respectful to them. If he wants to be friends with them too, that's great, but it's not a requirement. In actuality, he sees my friends as somewhat neutral. They're there sometimes. He's friendly, and talks to them, and that's really all I can ask for.

As far as his friends go, I can't stand most of them. Still, I play by the same rules. I treat them decently, and politely. I talk to them when they're here, or sometimes I'll send him with a tray of cookies when he goes to their homes. Just because I don't care for them doesn't mean they aren't important to him. And since he's important to me, I can put in that little bit of effort to treat them kindly.

My friends all think the world of my wife and that is the way I like it. We are all like family and they have taken her as one of their own. My friends I would trust alone with my mate. But I have some acquaintances that I cannot say the same about.

She supports me....she is cordial and friendly but that's it.
