my friend is 21 and just had a beautiful baby girl.. she herd that once you have a baby your hips dont go back to how they were before..is this true? she is super skinny and tall i told her shes fine but she thinks they will be bigger now

nope, unless you visit dr. 90210...if you think about what passed through the hips...the actual bones spread farther out to prepare for birth. But the actual fat on the hips will go away with proper diet and exercise.

Well i can tell you with definate certainty that the inner pelvis (the part the baby comes through) wont ever be the same. As for the hip part of it, sometimes they go back but more often than not they stay the same. I actually love it because i had a boyish body before i had my son and now i have a figure lol!!

I had my daughter 8 months ago... my hips aren't back to normal yet. I am still one pants size bigger than I was and cannot get my old prepregnancy pants any higher than my thighs. I think it varies for every woman though. Some do go back, some dont.

my hips went back to normal and i am glad because i love to sleep on my stomach

not 100% normal, but close enough. At the most she may add an inch.
