According to me sachin, sourav, dravid and laxman immediately announce their retirement. After played so many matches still they are playing for their own personal records. Playing lazzy cricket, boring cricket, wasting lot of deliveries to score runs, fails to take singles, fails to score boundaries. Put lot of pressure on incomming batsman like dhoni and yuvaraj singh to score quick runs. According to me these four players are irresponsible senior players in the team. Another thing if any team fails to score 3.5 to 4 Runs runrate in test cricket and 5 to 6 runs per over in one-dayers that team is unfit to play international cricket. Better that cricket team don't play cricket. I am seriously telling Dravid, ganguly and sachin tendulkar wasting too many deliveries to score runs. Please watch 3rd test against england and confirm yourself. Whether I am right or wrong

Yes Sachin , Dravid , Ganguly, Laxman should retire, But when is the question. They are great servants of the game and have done a lot in their careers for our country.
It is hard to replace them.
There will never be another like them.
But father time waits for no man. They are over 35 except laxman who is 33. In two years time unless they make way we will have a huge hole in our test and one day teams since these guys along with Kumble block the youngsters comming in the test team and that makes 5 slots gone in tests and in ODI's they have taken the prime slot of opening the batting.
If not now then when do you expect to replace them do it now sooner than later.

I believe people like Kaif , Yuvraj, Dhoni, Pathan, Karthick, Piyush etc should be given more chances to play.

The seniors should not be rotated for the easy tours but a bit on the difficult tours also.
Against England the performance was medicore, we almost lost the first test to an inexperienced bowling attack and we won the 2nd test mainly due to the toss on a flat track , the only reason England fell is because we won the toss and got them to bat under clowdy skies were the medium pacers were very effective. Yes we were very lucky with the second test. Thats all I can say.

It is very easy to tell that Sachin, Saurav, Dravid and Laxman should retire immediatelywithout giving any thought of their replacements. While they are not energetic and efficient as they used to be couple of years earlier, the fact remains that they are the most experienced players in the side and youngsters should be groomed up under their guidance. Hence the focus should be to get the talented youngsters groomed up to take the void created by these experience players when they retire.

No they shudn't especially Sachin n Dravid. Although u r rite that they all haven't been qute successful but their total exp is worth more than 50 yrs collectively n that's a huge asset. Let's not forget no other player has helped win som many maches as Sachin or Rahul. Dhoni is a pinch hitter n he wud stay like that, Yuvraj is a lower mid order basman n that's his job 2 increse the scorin rate while veterans like Dravid n Tendulkar provide stable foundations

In a test or ODI not everyone scores briskly. One or two grafters are also necessary to steady the innings.Similarly not all the pitches and conditions are good for quick scoring.
But i would agree that even grafters should be able to take quick singles to keep the score board moving.
As for as Tendulkar is considered he may continue in tests.
Moreover we cannot replace all the four abruptly. When we get replacement they will be replaced gradually. The selectors can also rotate the players to avoid players like Yuvraj sitting idly.

well i dont agree with you that much as sachin and dravid atleast should not announce their retirement cause they have so much of experience well i know they have been out of form these days but still it is good if they are in the team because this will help youngsters understand the game better.anyways you cant expect them to fire as they used to before because they have some limitations as they have grown older but will ofcourse help the youngsters with the huge amount of experience that they have

i think of he might desire to play till the 2011 worldwide cup and then retire. I additionally think of that till gamers like Rahul Dravid, Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis are around Sachin won't in any respect think of of retiring using fact records be counted extra to him and that makes him a grasping fool who in basic terms desires to attain centuries at any value. I hate Sachin Tendulkar and that i admire Rahul Dravid lots he's a great way much extra suitable than the little squirk. superb of success to Rahul !. i wish you are able to truly make out of it.

What u r talking about... 3.5 or 4 runs in test inning... buddy every team is not like play as aussies.. only aussies try to maintain that average in every match.... and now when any team play on Dead pitches as like WI or PAkistan wicket they manage to make 3.5 or 4 runs in over. but at other places its difficult to manage that average.... and same for ODIs... Man dont try to make high standards to only for making comments on Dravid , SAchin and others... Slogging touching ever ball with bat is not a cricket.. Cricket is the mind, Stratagy and temprament game..

i won't say ur right or wrong, but i definetly like 2 say that it's easy 2 say that sachin, dravid, and ganguly should retire now, but what about all they have done for team india in the past years, does that make any differnces or not, i know that they are not doing their best at this time but it's not important that they always give in their best, but they still try their best.
