No, but if you typically have bigger babies, then the next one will probably be big too. My first was 6#8 oz (but born 2 1/2 weeks early!), next was 7#11 oz., last was 7 #4 oz.

no my mother in laws babys all fluctuated...my first so far son was 6lbs 13.4 oz the next time around ill be curious as to what the weight will be..and no pregnancy question is a dumb question..

It USUALLY follows a similar pattern.
But, you know- every pregnancy IS different.
The baby's father determines the size of the baby for the most part. If he was big &/Or had other babies that are big, then that is the pattern.

i have 3 girls the first was 8lbs 14 oz 2nd was 5lbs 13 oz. and the 3rd was 6lbs even

My best friends third baby was the smallest. First was 7 lbs, second was 8 lbs, third was just barely 6 lbs.

Um, mine were just 6lb 12oz and 6lb 15oz. So, while yes they did get bigger, they weren't as big as yours! Wow~ that's incredible that you had an 11 lb baby!!! Good luck

no they do not always get bigger with each pregnancy.
normally the first is the smallest, but not always.
and 11 pounds is fairly large for a baby!!

mine have gotten smaller, my first was the biggest at 8lb 5oz
second was 1lb 5 oz (preemie)
my last was 7lb 3 oz

My mother's did and so have a friend of mine. I can't think of another example.. It doesn't always happen, but it definitely happens a lot.
