We as a family have 3 dogs (my poodle, a part-pit mutt, & a chocolate lab) & 4 cats (a mom & 3 of her kittens who's new homes fell through...still looking...need a cat?). (All of my current dogs are rescues & the momma cat adopted us, so we feed her & the kittens.)
Fave pet memory? That's hard, because I've had SOOO many pets over the years. Let's go with the funniest one...
I grew up with a black, 5-lb., female poodle (before spaying was all the rage, if you don't plan to breed). Anyway, we had been given a male cocka-poo who lived outside with our other male dog (a collie-Irish setter mix). My poodle was in heat, so we watched herwhen she went out, but my dad didn't think the cocka-poo was old enough to "serve" her. Dad was wrong. My mom let her out one night & came back in for a quick minute. When she went back outside & looked of the porch, the 2 dogs were mating. She yelled at the cocka-poo hoping that things hadn't been completed yet. It scared him. He jumped & got turned around. They ended up stuck butt-to-butt. My mom was worried & called the vet AT HOME & he told her not to worry to just let them be for about 30 minutes & everything would be o'kay. Needless to say, we had 4 adorable puppies a few months later.
BTW, I know cocka-poo is spelled wrong, but the correct way it was caught by the filter & looked dumb. Also, in case anyone is wondering, I try not to give out pet names or other info that could be misused on this or any similar site.

Kittens: Frankie & Sprite. I haven't had them very long, so I don't have very many memories stored. I guess it would be when Frankie actually wanted to sit on my lap today. She's pretty standoffish.
